Job summary

DayOne is expanding its presence in APAC and Europe and seeks a senior role based in Malaysia (or nearby markets) to lead client delivery across live service operations and construction projects. You will own relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure SLA-driven outcomes from construction through live operation.

The role requires 7+ years in data centers or related construction, with Mandarin and English fluency, and a track record of navigating multi-stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center industry, MEP consultancy, or construction with client management.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, ITIL frameworks, and SLA management.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field; Mandarin and English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers across project delivery and ongoing service operations.
• Lead data center construction and customization projects end to end; manage schedules, costs, risks, and escalations.
• Drive service delivery in line with SLAs and coordinate virtual delivery teams across live operations.
