Job summary

Exyte Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of mechanical systems for data center infrastructure in Cyberjaya. You will coordinate with electrical, controls, and other disciplines to ensure integrated, safe, and compliant solutions.

The role focuses on cooling systems, redundancy, and performance, driving design deliverables from concept through construction while supporting fast-track project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in design of mechanical systems for critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, and containment systems.
• Ability to read and develop design deliverables and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for data center infrastructure.
• Ensure redundancy, reliability, and uptime requirements.
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and hydraulic analysis.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, schematics, and layouts.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, structural, and civil disciplines.
• Review vendor submittals and equipment selections.
• Provide support to procurement and construction teams.
