Job summary

CBRE in Malaysia is seeking a Data Center Senior Engineer to perform advanced preventive maintenance and complex repairs within a data center, while providing leadership to junior team members and ensuring top-quality service delivery.

You will manage daily site inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, respond to BMS alarms, document activities, and drive safety and regulatory compliance while mentoring staff and improving maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 4-5 years relevant work experience.
• Preference for shift manager or supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrates organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to BMS alarms and perform emergency repairs.
• Document findings and report to management.
• Review UPS, PDU, and utility meter readings for accuracy.
• Lead and coach junior team members; drive safety and quality.
• Develop and implement SOPs and risk assessments for critical work.
• Ensure compliance with CBRE RISE values and safety standards.
