Job summary

Exyte is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer to support the design, engineering, coordination, and execution of electrical systems for high-tech facilities, including data centers and semiconductor plants in Malaysia.

The role spans conceptual design through construction, commissioning, and handover, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership in Design & Build projects. Collaboration with MECH, process, civil, and ELV/I&C teams is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 3–5 years in electrical engineering for related sectors.
Experience in data centers, pharma or semiconductor facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and review electrical engineering designs for industrial and commercial projects.
Prepare single-line diagrams, load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit studies, and protection coordination.
Design HV/MV/LV systems, transformers, standby generators, UPS, switchgear, and lighting.
Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and review vendor submissions.
Support construction, commissioning, and handover with technical guidance.
