Job summary

Exyte is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support design, engineering, coordination, and execution of electrical systems across high-tech facilities and data centers in Malaysia. You will deliver solutions from concept to commissioning, requiring strong multidisciplinary coordination and experience in Design & Build projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Master's Degree is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs for industrial and commercial projects.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short-circuit studies, protection coordination studies, and power system layouts.
• Design and coordinate electrical systems including HV/MV/LV, transformers, standby generators, UPS, switchgear, lighting, earthing, and power monitoring.
• Prepare technical specifications, calculations, reports, schedules, and construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, Malaysian regulations, IEC standards, and industry best practices.
• Support projects through all phases from conceptual design to handover.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, civil & structural, architectural, and ELV/IC teams.
• Review vendor submissions and shop drawings; manage deliverables to fit schedule and budget.
