Job summary

Randstad Malaysia partners with a leading global MNC semiconductor manufacturer in Melaka to hire a Customer Quality Engineer / Senior Engineer. You will lead cross-functional quality initiatives and manage key client relationships to drive operational excellence.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, process control, and robust quality documentation, with strong focus on customer satisfaction and supplier alignment. Mandarin is a helpful bonus in coordinating w/ diverse teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of quality engineering experience.
Hands-on expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, 8D, and QC 7 Tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management for customer and internal coordination.
Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead quality discussions and cross-functional/customer engagement to resolve issues.
Perform 8D-based root-cause analyses from incident to closure.
Analyze process data and metrics to improve quality and delivery.
Compile performance reports for management and stakeholders.
Conduct product validations, audits, and supplier/customer meetings.
Update internal quality docs and maintain proactive cross-level communication.
