Job summary

Randstad Malaysia in Johor is seeking a Customer Quality Manager for a global semiconductor manufacturer. You will lead quality governance, drive continuous improvement, and manage key customer accounts.

You will deliver on-site support, conduct root-cause analyses, coordinate CAPA actions, and work with Sales and Operations to align quality initiatives with business goals and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of quality experience, preferably within semiconductor environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site technical support and guidance to customers regarding quality inquiries.
• Manage customer complaints with prompt, structured responses, driving root-cause investigations and CAPA.
• Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify CAPA effectiveness and prevent defect recurrence.
• Collaborate with Sales to address product quality concerns and minimize RMAs.
• Perform regular customer visits to evaluate technical requirements and reinforce client relationships.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to coordinate customer audits and drive strategic projects.

• Manage customer complaints with prompt, structured responses, driving thorough root-cause investigations and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify CAPA implementation effectiveness and prevent defect recurrence.
• Collaborate closely with Sales teams to address product quality concerns proactively and minimize material returns (RMA).
• Perform regular customer visits to evaluate technical requirements, follow up on open quality issues, and reinforce client relationships.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Operations to coordinate customer audits and drive key strategic projects.

the experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of quality experience, preferably within semiconductor environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with business-level fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with regional stakeholders.
