Maybank seeks an experienced Credit Risk leader to drive portfolio analytics, policy development, and risk reporting across Malaysia and regional markets. You will influence Basel/FRS9 implementations and lead multi-country initiatives for Cards and Personal Loans.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex risk concepts into actionable insights for senior management. Regional exposure and Python proficiency are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Credit Risk Management across portfolios.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
• Expertise in credit risk analytics, modelling and reporting.
• Knowledge of Basel and FR S 9 standards.
• Ability to lead regional initiatives and coordinate stakeholders.
• Experience with regional/multi-country portfolios preferred.
• Proficiency in Python or similar analytical tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive risk transformation projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of methodologies for measuring credit portfolio management across MY and regional countries.
• Support Head of Regional Risk, Compliance and Projects in enhancing and reviewing Group Cards Credit Policies & Standards.
• Strengthen the Credit Reporting & Monitoring framework to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Credit Risk reports and provide recommendations to Senior Management.
• Contribute requirements and design inputs on credit risk recognition, measurement and reporting for key projects (Basel, FR S 9).
• Provide inputs on credit policy and analytics; support regional credit risk model development and ongoing maintenance.
• Assess and recalibrate statistical models or off-the-shelf credit risk models as needed.
• Facilitate development of Application scorecard, Behavioral scorecard, cut off score settings and asset quality management.
