Job summary

OCBC Bank Malaysia invites applications for a senior Market Risk Analytics Lead role. You will drive risk analysis across trading and banking portfolios, identify key risk drivers, and challenge outcomes with senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Front Office, Treasury, Finance and Group Risk to strengthen measurement, reporting, automation and governance, while mentoring a high-performing team in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related.
• At least 6 years in Market Risk or related roles with leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, treasury products, risk frameworks incl. FRTB.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of market risk exposures across trading and banking portfolios.
• Provide independent challenge on portfolio positioning, hedging, and risk drivers.
• Maintain and enhance risk measurement methodologies and frameworks.
• Lead and develop the Market Risk Analytics team.
• Engage with Front Office, Treasury, Finance, and governance stakeholders.
• Drive data analytics, automation, and risk reporting improvements.
• Support regulatory submissions and risk transformation initiatives.
