Job summary

Luxottica Malaysia is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable specialist to support end-to-end AR processes and credit control, collaborating with internal teams and the GBS Center in Manila to ensure accurate receivables and timely collections.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Accounting degree with 8+ years in credit control, strong Excel and D365 Dynamics skills, and thrives in a fast-paced multicultural environment. Hybrid work arrangement available in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accounting required.
• 8+ years of experience in credit controlling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and D365 Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end AR reporting and credit control, including aging analysis and credit limit reviews.
• Manage customer AR inquiries, disputes, and reconciliations with timely resolutions.
• Drive debt collection activities with customers and Commercial teams; negotiate repayment plans.
• Review and maintain customer credit limits per company policies and payment history.
• Act as liaison with Malaysia Lens Extended Credit Control and oversee credit exposure and holds.
• Coordinate AR tracking files for collection follow-up and management reporting.
• Collaborate with GBS Manila for AR transactions and balance-sheet reconciliations.

Your role

Reporting to financial controller, you are responsible in providing support and performing related tasks with regards to accounts receivable function.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for end-to-end Accounts Receivable reporting and credit control, including AR aging analysis, collection reporting, overdue monitoring, credit hold reporting, and annual customer credit limit reviews.
• Manage customer AR inquiries, disputes and account reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding and disputed balances.
• Drive debt collection activities in close collaboration with customers and Commercial teams, including payment reminders, follow-up on overdue accounts and negotiation of repayment plans.
• Review and maintain customer credit limits in accordance with company credit policies, considering customer payment history, credit exposure and business requirements.
• Key Finance liaison for Malaysia Lens Extended Credit Control, overseeing customer credit exposure, overdue balances, credit holds and account release matters.
• Manage and coordinate AR tracking and monitoring files, ensuring accurate and timely information for collection follow-up and management reporting.
• Act as the key liaison with the GBS Shared Service Centre in Manila for AR transactions and operational matters, including cash application, customer settlements, discount postings, account inquiries and other AR-related activities.
• Collaborate with GBS on Balance Sheet reconciliations related to Accounts Receivable, investigating and resolving reconciling items to ensure accuracy and completeness of AR balances.

Main Requirements

• Degree in Finance/ Accounting or related studies with minimum 8yrs of experience in credit controlling.
• Able to work in fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multi-cultural environment
• Good communication (written and verbal) skills with multiple stakeholders
• Able to work able to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize demanding workload
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in D365 Dynamics
