Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in daily operations, drive sales, manage staff, and uphold service standards in a fast paced optical retail environment.

You will coach sales teams, handle customer issues, recruit and train staff, supervise inventory, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a customer-centric store culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in optical retail management.
• Proven track record of achieving targets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in optical retail.

Responsibilities

• Support branch sales staff in achieving targets through coaching and motivation.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members.
• Assist in maintaining operational efficiency by enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Oversee branch operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with administrative tasks and liaise with head office departments.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster a customer-centric culture.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing employee schedules, assign tasks and manage staffing levels.
• Assist in administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and processing paperwork.

Your Role

• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS software, and Microsoft Office suite.
