Job summary

Exyte, a leading provider for hyperscale data center design-and-build projects, is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage main contracts, subcontracts, and claims. You will work with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to protect commercial interests and ensure timely resolution of disputes.

The role involves change, risk, and subcontract management, with a focus on variations, EOTs, and commercial impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Law or related discipline.
• Typically 4–6 years of contract administration, claims management, or commercial management experience on major construction projects, preferably hyperscale data centers or complex design‑and‑build programs.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC or other standard forms) and risk allocation.
• Proven ability to assess and prepare contractual claims including EOTs, variations, disruption and costs.
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving, and commercial risk assessment capabilities.
• Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and with project controls, procurement, and construction teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration: Manage main contracts and subcontracts, ensure compliance with terms and project requirements.
• Claims Management: Prepare, assess, substantiate, and negotiate claims including EOTs and variations.
• Change Management: Review changes and commercial impacts from design development and site conditions.
• Risk Management: Identify risks, maintain claims registers, and propose mitigations.
• Subcontract Management: Administer subcontract agreements and flow-down obligations.
• Notice and Correspondence: Issue notices and maintain records per deadlines.
• Project Coordination: Gather supporting docs, assess delays, and establish entitlement to claims.
• Negotiation and Dispute Resolution: Support settlements and escalate significant issues.
• Reporting and Documentation: Produce reports on contract status, variations, and risks.
