Job summary

You will monitor progress, handle ad-hoc regulator requests, and drive corrective actions while maintaining high standards of governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting compliance reviews across banking.
• Familiarity with regulators and regulatory updates.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and initiate annual compliance review plan, considering branches nationwide and regulatory requirements.
• Keep abreast with latest regulatory updates, trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with management to evaluate and investigate compliance issues identified during reviews.
• Conduct exit meetings with management to articulate compliance issues.
• Work with BCOs/BRCOs and management to develop and implement corrective action plans.
• Monitor the annual compliance review plan and accommodate ad-hoc regulator requests.
• Ensure reporting of non-compliances to Board and Management.
• Provide regular reports to keep Board and Management informed of compliance issues.
• Manage team members, coach, develop careers, and resolve escalated issues.
