Job summary

RHB Group in Malaysia seeks a Compliance Review Lead to execute annual compliance review plans across approximately 208 branches. You will perform health checks, identify gaps, and monitor regulatory changes to ensure timely implementation bank-wide.

Collaborating with management, you will address compliance issues, conduct exit meetings, and guide corrective actions. You will coach the team and oversee workflow and capacity to ensure effective oversight.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual compliance review plan
• Conduct health checks for business/functional areas across the bank
• Carry out gap assessments on new and/or revised regulatory requirements
• Identify forward-looking, current or emerging regulatory risks across all sectors
• Track and implement new regulations issued by regulators within the past year
• Keep abreast with latest regulatory updates, trends and best practices
• Collaborate with management to evaluate and investigate compliance issues identified during review
• Conduct exit meetings with management to articulate compliance issues/concerns
• Work with BCOs/BRCOs and management to develop/implement corrective action plans
• Monitor the performance of the annual compliance review plan and accommodate ad-hoc regulator requests
• Ensure reporting of non-compliances to Board and Management
• Provide regular reports to keep Board and Management informed of compliance issues
• Manage team members, coach and develop their careers, resolve escalated issues
