Job summary

RHB Banking Group seeks a Compliance Review professional to perform annual compliance reviews across its nationwide branch network, conducting gap analyses and end-to-end/theme-based assessments. The role involves coordinating with BRCOs and management to identify issues and develop corrective actions.

You will monitor action plans, track regulator requests, and provide regular updates to the Board and executive team.

Qualifications

• Must keep abreast with latest regulatory updates, trends and best practices.
• End-to-end/in-depth review of guidelines or functions bank-wide via thematic review.
• Collaborate with management to evaluate and investigate compliance issues.
• Conduct exit meetings to articulate compliance issues/concerns.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans with BRCOs.
• Monitor corrective actions for closure of issues.
• Provide regular reports to Board and Management.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end/in-depth review of a guideline or functional area bank-wide via thematic review.
• Collaborates with management to appropriately evaluate and investigate compliance issues/concerns identified during the review.
• Conducts exit meetings with management to articulate any compliance issues/concerns.
• Work closely with BRCOs and the management to develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of compliance issues/concerns.
• Monitors correction action plans to ensure closure of compliance issues/concerns raised during the review.
• Monitors the performance of the annual compliance review plan and ensure appropriate steps are taken to accommodate any adhoc activities/requests from the regulators.
• Ensure reporting of violations or potential violations are documented and reported to Board and Management.
