Zusammenfassung

RBC is seeking a Compliance Manager to support monitoring and oversight within the Regulatory Compliance Management Framework. The role involves assessing controls, providing compliance opinions, and driving the Monitoring Plan across the business in Malaysia.

You will work with the Head of Monitoring and UK Head Office to ensure effective regulatory adherence, embed a culture of compliance, and deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifikationen

• Solid experience in the financial services industry in Compliance monitoring, Testing, Internal Audit or at a financial institutions regulator
• Experience in Capital Markets, fund management and data analytics
• Experience as Compliance Manager and/or related discipline i.e. Risk & Compliance
• Deep knowledge of compliance monitoring methodologies and/or audit experience
• Knowledge of FCA (and prevailing, relevant domestic and local) rules and regulations
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Excellent collaboration and team-building skills

Aufgaben

• Assess adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day controls to manage regulatory compliance risk.
• Provide opinion on effectiveness of RC M controls in achieving regulatory compliance.
• Support development and execution of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, with improvements.
• Design, evaluate, oversee and assess new and existing monitoring tasks to meet current and new regulations.
• Support activities of the Compliance team and embed a compliance culture across the business.
• Carry out 2LoD monitoring tasks and related ad hoc projects and reporting.
• Escalate concerns with plans/recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Maintain regular communications with Head Office stakeholders in the UK.
• Identify areas for data-driven testing and AI/automation deployment.
• Produce high-quality management information (MI).
• Maintain knowledge on industry developments and regulatory changes.
