Job summary

AmBank Malaysia is seeking a Relationship Manager for Commercial Banking in Seremban. You will drive business growth by cross-selling AmBank’s full suite of products and services, while building and managing key client relationships through a consultative approach.

Your role includes achieving revenue targets, understanding clients' financing needs, and developing new opportunities with existing and potential clients. You will mentor team members and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Banking or equivalent.
• 4-7 years of proven work experience in relationship management, credit processing and cross selling.
• Expertise in commercial banking products, financial analysis and credit write up.
• Strong customer service and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth and profitability via cross-selling AmBank Group's products and services.
• Achieve budget/targets in total revenue, fee income, PBT and ROE for the team.
• Manage key client relationships with a consultative approach to understand clients' business and financing needs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
• Cross-sell products to increase clients' share of wallet by account planning with product specialists.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Negotiate and structure deals with clients and provide holistic value-added solutions.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and internal controls.
