Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malaysia seeks a Senior Commercial Analyst to own Power BI architecture, data models, and enterprise analytics across Commercial Operations, Sales, Finance, IT and Data Engineering. This role drives data-driven decisions that impact revenue and forecast accuracy.

You will shape governance, build scalable data products, mentor analysts, and partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate AI-enabled insights and commercial execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in BI, analytics, data architecture or related fields.
• Power BI expertise with data modeling and DAX.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing and enterprise architecture.
• Able to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
• Experience building governance-enabled analytics ecosystems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• BS/BA in CS, IS, Analytics, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of advanced Power BI development in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the Power BI architecture, standards, governance, and roadmap for the Commercial organization.
• Design and deliver scalable analytics solutions, dashboards, and data products for data-driven decisions.
• Act as a force multiplier by elevating analytical maturity across global teams.
• Build reusable semantic models and reporting frameworks for self-service analytics.
• Partner with IT and Data Engineering to optimize data architecture for analytics and AI readiness.
• Translate commercial objectives into KPIs, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Establish best practices for data modeling, performance, security, and quality.
• Lead AI-enabled analytics, automation, and insight generation to accelerate outcomes.
• Mentor analysts and promote analytical excellence and collaboration.
