Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Penang seeks a Senior Commercial Analyst to lead Power BI architecture, data modeling, and enterprise analytics. You will partner with Commercial Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to deliver scalable dashboards and data products that drive revenue growth and forecast accuracy.

You will mentor analysts, raise analytical maturity, and push AI-enabled insights, governance, and best practices for data, reporting, and security across global teams.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Power BI experience with data modeling, DAX, Power Query and governance.
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong ability to bridge business and technical teams, translating requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Experience building enterprise analytics ecosystems supporting governance, self-service reporting, and AI-enabled insights.
• Strong understanding of commercial and sales performance metrics, forecasting, pipeline management, and executive reporting.
• Proven track record converting complex data into actionable business insights that drive results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in BI, Analytics, Data Architecture, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of advanced Power BI development within enterprise environments.

Introduction

The Senior Commercial Analyst serves as the technical leader for Power BI, data architecture, and commercial analytics. This role is responsible for building scalable, enterprise‑grade analytics solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth, forecast accuracy, and commercial execution.

This individual will partner closely with Commercial Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering teams to ensure data is structured, modeled, and delivered to maximize business value, self‑service analytics, and AI‑driven capabilities. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and a passion for building analytics solutions that enable better decisions and measurable business impact.

Your Job:

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CRM systems, Power Query, SQL, workflow automation, or process improvement methods.
• Experience supporting partner onboarding, incentive programs, contract tracking, or cross‑functional business operations.
