Job summary

Businesslist in Malaysia is seeking a skilled CNC Engineer/Technician to manage 5S in the department and develop CNC programs from drawings. The role requires hands-on experience with FANUC controllers, SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and 5-axis machining knowledge. You will collaborate with Engineering & Quality Assurance to improve productivity.

The position is permanent with day or night shifts and OT on Saturdays; five-day workweek with regional ISO compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC engineering/technician experience.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of FANUC controllers and CNC programming needed.

• Create CNC programs from drawings and set up machines.

Position: CNC Engineer/ Technician

Location: Kajang

Permanent role

Work 5days including OT on Saturday

Willing to work on Day or Night shift

To manage 5S activity in the department.

2. Good understanding of tooling and machining processes and proficient on FANUC controllers.

3. Proficient in engineering drawing/ Solid work / Auto cad software.

4. Knowledge in 3 axis and 4/5 axis CNC machine is added advantage.

5. To create programs for CNC Machining according to drawing given.

6. Work closely with Engineering & Quality Assurance Department to enhance the quality & productivity.

7. Design machining process by studying customer requirement on engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, machining parameters etc.

8. Support first run and start-up of CNC Programs.

9. Assist and supervise troubleshooting program errors.

10. To monitor machining times and optimize from time to time by implementing new techniques and methods.

11. Coordinate with CNC Supervisor in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.

12. To provide training and guidance to new and existing staff to enhance competency, performance, and skill development.

13. To maintain and apply ISO knowledge, including proper documentation control and compliance with company procedures and standards.
