RIGID TECHNOLOGIES CO.,LTD. in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced CNC programmer and production planner with advanced Mastercam skills for milling and 5-axis operations. You will lead offline programming, tooling selection, and process optimization while mentoring shop-floor staff.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, Six Sigma concepts, and cross-functional collaboration to improve productivity and quality in fast-paced manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Mastercam for CNC Milling (2D/3D) and 5-axis work
• Experience developing offline CNC programs for Milling and Turning
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols and use precision measuring tools
• Familiar with various cutting tools, materials and tooling solutions
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-team communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop offline CNC programs for Milling, Turning and other processes using Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Sodick controls.
• Optimize machining processes with accurate programming and toolpath creation.
• Identify, specify, and procure tooling for standard and specialty production needs.
• Provide coaching to shop-floor machinists and junior engineers for knowledge transfer.
• Investigate, test and implement advancements in machining and tooling to boost productivity.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to reduce defects and waste.
• Assist with capital projects and equipment justification.
• Lead and collaborate across teams to achieve organizational goals.
