Responsibilities

• Create, modify and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling using Hypermill and SolidCAM.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine machining processes.
• Select cutting tools and set speeds/feeds for efficient, accurate machining.
• Support machine setup and first-piece run to verify program accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machining/programming issues to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize parameters and cycle time.
• Ensure programs meet tolerances and surface finish requirements.
• Conduct test runs and verify part conformance with precision instruments.
• Maintain program libraries, tool lists and setup sheets.
