Job summary

Tencent Cloud in Malaysia seeks an experienced Senior Solution Architect to design scalable, secure cloud architectures for enterprise customers across key sectors. You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, guiding engagements from pre-sales to delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud pre-sales/solution architecture, strong virtualization knowledge (KVM, Xen, LXc), and proficiency in English

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in public cloud pre-sales or solution architecture roles, preferably focused on Internet and Financial Services verticals.
Strong expertise in cloud computing technologies, virtualization (KVM, Xen, or LxC).
Strong AI Agent delivery capability: rapid architecting and MVP deployment for enterprise use cases.

Responsibilities

Design and architect customized cloud solutions aligned with customer objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Engage with customers to understand technical requirements, regulations, and constraints, translating into structured solution designs and execution plans.
Act as the technical liaison between customers and backend engineering, communicating requirements and ensuring on-time delivery.
Support pre-sales activities including architecture workshops and MVP builds for AI Agent use cases to drive opportunity conversion.
Represent Tencent Cloud at industry forums and ecosystem events, expanding brand credibility in Malaysia.
