Job summary

Tencent Cloud is seeking a Senior Strategic Sales Executive in Malaysia to drive cloud adoption across internet sectors, engaging senior stakeholders and shaping scalable growth strategies. You will manage complex deals with social, gaming, e-commerce and media customers, align Tencent Cloud’s IaaS, PaaS and security offerings with client needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to close deals.

Fluency in English and Mandarin and a proven cloud solution sales track record are essential

Qualifications

5+ years of cloud solution sales experience, preferably with internet clients or digital-native enterprises.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, content delivery, security architecture, and scaling for internet-facing applications.
Fluency in English and Mandarin to communicate with regional teams and clients.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, adaptability and collaboration in a fast‑growing, cross‑cultural setting.

Responsibilities

Acquire and grow strategic internet accounts across social, gaming, e-commerce, media, and other digital-native verticals.
Build relationships with C-level decision-makers, product owners, and engineering leaders to position Tencent Cloud as a long-term partner.
Understand infrastructure, compliance, and performance demands of internet workloads; map to Tencent Cloud IaaS, PaaS and security offerings.
Collaborate with pre-sales, product, engineering, and legal to shape proposals and close complex deals.
Develop region-specific go-to-market strategies informed by market intelligence and platform requirements.
Represent Tencent Cloud at industry forums and client workshops to elevate product visibility.
