Job summary

NTT DATA Malaysia is seeking a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) to join our on-site team in Kuala Selangor. You will proactively identify and resolve cloud-based incidents, configure, install, test, and manage client infrastructure to keep services running smoothly.

You will monitor alerts, investigate complex issues with third-party vendors, and document improvements. The role emphasizes ITIL-aligned managed services, strong communication across cultures, and opportunity to drive automation

Qualifications

• Experience in a medium to large ICT organization in an engineering role.
• Proven experience in managed services with ITIL knowledge.
• Proficiency with Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization, hardware and storage.
• Experience working with vendors/third parties.
• Strong communication across cultures and ability to plan ahead.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier managed services for cloud environments.
• Identify and resolve cloud-based incidents; configure, install, test and manage client infrastructure.
• Monitor, respond to alerts, and log issues promptly; identify root causes with third-line support.
• Collaborate with vendors and perform on-site support when needed.
• Provide feedback to clients and update systems/portals; identify opportunities for automation.
• Manage projects within technology domain and conduct disaster recovery tests.
