Job summary

OSTTRA is seeking an Associate for its Penang, Malaysia Operations team. You will provide day-to-day client support for Osttra’s product suite, assist onboarding and UAT testing, and handle inquiries via email and phone with SLA focus.

Ideal candidates have university degrees, experience in financial markets operations, and knowledge of OTC/FX/Equity/Future products. Korean/Japanese language skills are a plus; strong service orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• University graduate preferred.
• Work experience in the financial markets preferably in operations.
• Knowledge of OTC / FX / Equity / Future products, the trade clearing process and application support a major plus.
• Prior experience working on Traiana/MarkitServ applications is a major plus.
• Business level proficiency for Korean/Japanese is preferred.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with client orientation.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Focused on Operational Control and Data Security.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• As part of platform / system support, assist on everyday client queries pertaining to access management, system workflow, and technical issues.
• Provide day-to-day customer support for Osttra’s suite of products.
• Assist with onboarding and UAT testing prior to go-live in production.
• Handle client queries via email and phone hotline with SLA adherence.
• Act as incident management point during APAC hours; provide updates and post-incident recovery guidance.
• Collaborate with internal teams for system enhancements and data configurations.
• Monitor queues and diagnose exceptions to resolve client issues.
• Educate clients on upcoming changes and new products.
