Job summary

PSA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of 7–15 analysts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client work and day-to-day operational leadership.

You will oversee case allocation, monitor workload and timelines, mentor analysts, drive quality with PSA methodologies, and report to the Managing Director on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 to 7 years of operational, research, compliance, or due diligence experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing professional teams.
• Strong analytical judgment and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Operations manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of 7–15 analysts while ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality client work. The role provides day-to-day operational leadership, manages case execution, develops analyst capability, and supports the Managing Director in implementing operational priorities and organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Case Management & Operational Execution

1. Oversee the allocation and management of client cases across the analyst team.
2. Monitor workload, capacity, and delivery timelines.
3. Ensure client deliverables are completed accurately, consistently, and on schedule.
4. Act as the primary escalation point for complex cases and adjudication decisions.
5. Ensure consistent application of PSA methodologies, policies, and quality standards.

Analyst Leadership & Development

1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 7–15 analysts.
2. Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews.
3. Identify training requirements and support professional development.
4. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new analysts.
5. Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Quality Assurance

1. Work closely with the Editor to maintain consistent quality standards.
2. Review quality metrics and identify recurring issues.
3. Implement corrective actions and process improvements where required.
4. Ensure methodologies are applied consistently across the team.

Support to Senior Management

1. Support the Managing Director in executing operational priorities and strategic initiatives.
2. Provide operational reporting, workload analysis, and performance metrics.
3. Assist in implementing organizational changes and new operational processes.
4. Coordinate execution of projects assigned by senior management.
5. Identify operational risks and recommend practical solutions.
