Job summary

2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd seeks a Senior Executive, CCWB Doc Processing EE to ensure efficient and accurate handling of corporate, commercial, and wholesale banking documentation. You will maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations while supporting junior team members.

You will handle loan agreements, trade finance documents, guarantees and security documents; review for AML and legal compliance; liaise with front office, legal, compliance and clients;

Responsibilities

• Process CCWB documentation including loan agreements, trade finance documents, guarantees, and security documents.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and validity of all processed documents, adhering to established service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of documentation for compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and AML guidelines.
• Liaise with various internal departments (e.g., front office, legal, compliance) and external parties (e.g., clients, other banks) to resolve discrepancies and gather necessary information.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members on complex document processing issues and best practices.
• Identify and escalation potential risks, operational issues, or compliance breaches to management.
• Participate in system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all processed documents and related communications.
• Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and product knowledge.
