2201 United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Documentation Specialist to process CCWB documentation including loan agreements and guarantees.

You will ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, coordinate with front office, legal and compliance, and maintain audit trails of all processed documents.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness and validity per SLAs and regulations.
• Review documents for compliance with internal policies and AML guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to resolve discrepancies.
• Support junior team members on complex document processing issues.

Job Description

• Process a wide range of CCWB documentation, including but not limited to loan agreements, trade finance documents, guarantees, and security documents.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and validity of all processed documents, adhering to established service level agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough reviews of documentation for compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
• Liaise with various internal departments (e.g., front office, legal, compliance) and external parties (e.g., clients, other banks) to resolve discrepancies and gather necessary information.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members on complex document processing issues and best practices.
• Identify and elevate potential risks, operational issues, or compliance breaches to management.
• Participate in system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all processed documents and related communications.
• Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and product knowledge.
