Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Presales Solutions Consultant to combine CAE expertise with strong customer-facing consulting and technical sales skills. You will engage with engineering leaders and executives to understand objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years of experience in CAE, simulation, engineering consulting, technical presales, application engineering, technical account management, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; travel within India, Southeast Asia, and APAC as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical presales leadership and solution consulting for Siemens Simcenter and Altair simulation portfolios.
• Engage with customers to understand business objectives, engineering challenges, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, value assessments, and workshops to identify requirements and recommend solutions.
• Develop and deliver technical demonstrations, PoCs, and benchmark studies.
• Support customer evaluations and pilot projects to showcase capabilities and business value.
• Collaborate with sales to advance opportunities from technical qualification to closure.
• Develop technical strategies for software opportunities and contribute to proposals, SOWs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Coach channel presales teams and partners in Southeast Asia and APAC; drive enablement and best practices.
