Job summary

Inoptra Digital seeks an experienced CAE Crash Simulation Engineer to join the on-site Malaysia team. You will handle automotive crash analyses, FE model prep, and result evaluation using ANSA, PAM-CRASH, and LS-DYNA within an international project setting.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on crash modeling expertise, understanding of vehicle structural behavior, and strong collaboration across engineering teams. The role requires relocation to Kuala Lumpur, onsite placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
• 58 years of relevant experience in automotive CAE, crash simulation, and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive crash simulations and structural impact analysis using LS-DYNA and/or PAM-CRASH.
• Prepare, clean, mesh, and validate finite element models using ANSA.
• Develop and optimise crash simulation models for components, subsystems and full-vehicle assemblies.
• Correlate simulation results with available physical test data and support model validation activities.
• Prepare simulation reports and technical presentations for design reviews.
• Collaborate with design, CAE, testing and project teams to resolve structural issues.
