Job summary

AIS Malaysia SDN BHD invites a CAD Designer to join our Kuala Lumpur engineering team. The role involves developing CAD models, preparing drawings, and contributing to product design across design engineering.

You will work with Solidworks and PDM (essential), with Autodesk Inventor as a desirable skill, and you should be comfortable with global travel. The package includes an annual salary up to MYR 80,000, 10am–7pm hours, private medical insurance, and a discretionary bonus up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Solidworks and PDM expertise (essential).
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing environment (essential).
• Experience in subsea industry via oil & gas, renewables, or marine (desirable).
• Experience designing with polymers, metals, rubbers.
• Proficient with design applications; computer literate.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD models including parts and assemblies.
• Prepare technical drawings using design software.
• Product design and development within design engineering teams.
• Create new parts and Bills of Materials.
• Travel globally to AIS sites or customer sites.
