Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is seeking a Manager, Business Development to analyze opportunities, prospect clients, and lead end-to-end pitching and onboarding to accelerate growth. You will drive strategic relationships and cross-functional collaboration across the Malaysia business unit.

The role requires 3–5 years in BD/sales/marketing with 2–3 years in a managerial capacity, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Studies or Marketing is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales or marketing with 2–3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven BD experience in medium to large companies within similar industries.
• Strong business acumen with advanced analytical skills.
• Experience in market research, market audits and competitive intelligence gathering.
• Experience in client prospecting, data analysis and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and manage business opportunities to build a robust BD pipeline.
• Lead end-to-end pitching, including proposals, contract negotiations and pricing input.
• Drive onboarding of new clients and ensure a positive client experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify upselling opportunities and close deals.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure seamless client integration.
• Develop BD capability and maintain accurate commercial intelligence.
