Job summary

CY Plastic Recycling Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to grow client partnerships in Malaysia’s plastics recycling sector.

You will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and promote tailored solutions while coordinating with operations and logistics to ensure smooth delivery. The role offers a clear career path and competitive compensation including a performance bonus and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development.
• Experience in local or export sales would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of plastic and film materials or the recycling industry is preferred.
• Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred to support communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• New business development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to help achieve sales targets.
• Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key accounts.
• Solution selling: Promote the company’s products and recommend tailored solutions based on customer needs.
• Sales cycle ownership: Manage the full sales process, including client visits, follow-ups, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Market and internal collaboration: Monitor market trends, explore new opportunities, and work closely with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery.
