Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Manufacturing or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong experience in Business development, customer relationship management and commercial negotiation.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and business growth targets.
• Identify and secure new customers, markets and business opportunities, particularly within manufacturing, automotive, E&E and OEM industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Manage RFQ, quotation, negotiation and follow-up processes with customers.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing and other departments to support new projects and customer requirements.
• Monitor sales pipeline, project status and business opportunities and provide regular updates to Management.
• Conduct market research and identify market trends, customer needs and potential business opportunities.
• Lead or support customer visits, presentations, negotiations and business development activities.
• Lead, coach and develop the Business Development/Sales team to achieve departmental objectives.
