Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive regional growth from the Pasir Gudang manufacturing facility in Johor. You will lead new business opportunities, cultivate high-value B2B relationships, and build a sustainable pipeline to meet corporate targets.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will coordinate with Technical, Production, and Logistics teams to align capabilities with client needs and deliver accurate forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related business field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive B2B business development or sales management in food ingredient manufacturing.
• Proven track record in technical B2B sales and key account management.
• Strong pricing, margin optimization, and pipeline forecasting.
• Ability to present executive-level reports.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities and major accounts across targeted regions and sectors.
• Prepare tailored proposals, issue commercial quotations, oversee product sampling cycles, and deliver rolling forecasts.
• Coordinate with Technical, Production, and Logistics teams to translate client specs into manufacturable solutions and ensure on-time delivery.
• Track market trends and competitor activities to adjust commercial positioning and identify opportunities.
• Produce monthly/quarterly sales reports and strategic market presentations for senior management.
