Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Business Development Executive to lead our Malaysia FMCG/Personal Care business. You will own market growth, manage distributors, and drive revenue and profitability across key accounts.

As a successful candidate, you will develop annual plans, forecast sales, and plan campaigns for new product launches. Travel locally to visit markets and partners, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and market expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG Sales, Business Development, Commercial, or a related field.
• Strong experience in FMCG sales, Modern Trade, Key Account Management, or distributor management.
• Experience independently managing customers, distributors, or a market is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales planning, forecasting, pricing, promotions, and business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
• Willingness to travel locally for market visits when required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Malaysia business, driving revenue, profitability, and overall business performance
• Manage and develop relationships with distributors, key customers, and trade partners
• Develop annual business plans, sales forecasts, and growth strategies for assigned customers and product portfolios
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, new product launches, and market expansion initiatives
• Monitor sales performance, profitability, distribution, and product performance to identify growth opportunities
• Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and business operations
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's product portfolio and market presence
• Conduct market analysis covering market size, potential, market share, competitors, pricing, and branding
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to support business decisions
• Ensure compliance with relevant food and cosmetic regulations in the Malaysian market
