Job summary

Billennium in Malaysia invites a senior automation tester to own test automation strategy across our software products. You will lead a team of automation and manual QA engineers, set technical direction, and drive quality standards in collaboration with developers, PMs, and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software testing, deep Selenium and Java expertise, strong CI/CD experience, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years of software testing experience.
3+ years leading automation efforts or teams.
Deep proficiency with Selenium and framework design.
Strong Java programming and scripting skills.
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of automation and manual QA engineers.
Define test strategies, environments, coverage, test data, and automation roadmap.
Design, build, and evolve scalable automation frameworks using Selenium.
Oversee API testing with Postman and Rest Assured; integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor test environments, report defects, and drive quality improvements.
Collaborate with developers, PMs, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
