Job summary

NGO STUDIO is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer in Kuala Lumpur to work across both architecture and interiors. You will collaborate with the founder and team, meet clients, visit sites, and oversee designs from concept through drawings, site, and completion.

The role emphasizes a strong design sense, curiosity, technical ability, and growth within a small, design-focused studio.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or Rhino and construction drawings.
• Good understanding of architecture and interior detailing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across architecture and interiors on project concepts.
• Meet clients and visit sites to develop designs.
• Produce drawings from concept to site completion.
• Coordinate projects and guide junior team members.

We're a small, young and design-focused studio looking for a Senior Architectural Designer who enjoys working across both architecture and interiors.

Our projects range from architecture and interiors to event spaces and experimental installations , so there's always something different happening in the studio.

You'll work closely with the founder/director and the rest of the team, contribute your own ideas, meet clients, visit sites and see your designs develop from concept → drawings → site → completion.

We're not looking for someone who is perfect at everything.

We're looking for someone with good design sense, curiosity, technical ability and the confidence to grow with us.

• AutoCAD drawings
• Construction drawings & detailing
• Site visits
• Tender drawings
• Project coordination
• Guiding junior team members

Most importantly, you're welcome to bring your own ideas to the table.

As you grow with us, we'd love for you to eventually take ownership and lead your own projects.

Salary & Benefits

RM3,500 - RM 6,000/month, depending on experience and ability.
