Job summary

The Makeover Guys is seeking an Interior Designer/Senior Interior Designer to design and makeover residential units. You will develop concepts, create drawings, estimate costs, and source decor to meet project budgets while ensuring high-quality delivery.

You will conduct client consultations, refine designs with feedback, and collaborate with contractors to ensure timely completion. A car and passion for interior design are essential, with English fluency required and Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interior Designer.
• Fluency in English is a must; Mandarin is a plus.
• Commitment and passion for interior design.
• Have your own car.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts including space planning, mood boards, material selection, and sketches for residential projects.
• Refine designs based on client feedback and manage design-related inquiries.
• Conduct client consultations to understand needs and provide design recommendations.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and technical drawings.
• Prepare cost estimations and quotations for proposed solutions.
• Source materials, furniture, and decor within budgets.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project team for timely delivery.
• Coordinate final decor styling, quality checks, and photography before handover.
• Research and introduce design trends and technical solutions to improve quality.

Interior Designer / Senior Interior Designer

As the Interior Designer/Senior Interior Designer at this company, you will design and makeover our units. Your work will directly impact the living experience for the homeowners and future tenants.

What You’ll Do:

1. Develop design concepts including space planning, mood boards, material selection, and sketches for residential projects, including more complex or high-value projects

2. Refine designs based on client feedback and requirements while managing requests, expectations, and design-related enquiries throughout the project journey

3. Conduct design consultations with clients to understand their needs as we l as provide design advice and recommendations to enhance the overall living experience.

4. Prepare 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and technical drawings

5. Prepare cost estimations and quotations based on proposed design solutions and project requirements

6. Source for materials, furniture, and decorations in line with project budgets 7. Conduct site visits to take measurements, monitor progress, and ensure design accuracy

8. Liaise and collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure timely and quality project delivery

9. Coordinate final decor styling, quality checks, and photography prior to project handover

10. Research, explore, and introduce design concepts, materials, trends, and technical solutions to continuously enhance project quality and customer experience

Who You Are:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Interior Designer

2. Fluency in English is a must, Mandarin (Chinese) is a plus!

3. Commitment and passion for interior design

4. Have your own car

Working Arrangement:

Hybrid. Work closely with our Sales Consultant and Project Manager.
