Job summary

DCDA ARCHITECTS in Petaling Jaya seeks an experienced Project/Design Architect to contribute to architectural design, design development, and construction documentation across small- to medium-scale projects. You will lead design development, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and deliver accurate drawings, BIM models, renderings, and documentation on schedule.

The ideal candidate has five years of relevant experience, strong AutoCAD/BIM skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant architectural design experience.
• Strong skills in conceptual design, design development and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Prepare clear 2D drawings, BIM models, 3D models, and renderings.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate design intent into coordinated documentation and support project delivery.
• Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables to meet deadlines.

We are looking for an experienced Project/ Design Architect to join our multidisciplinary practice in Petaling Jaya. You will contribute to architectural design, design development, and construction documentation across small- to medium-scale projects, working closely with clients and internal project teams from concept through delivery.

This role is suited to an architect with at least five years of relevant experience who can take ownership of design development, coordinate project requirements, and deliver accurate, high-quality documentation within agreed timelines.

Job Description

• Lead and contribute to conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Prepare clear and accurate 2D drawings, BIM models, 3D models, and renderings.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Translate design intent into coordinated documentation and support successful project delivery.
• Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Present design ideas and coordinate feedback with relevant stakeholders.
• Support project coordination and resolve design or documentation issues as they arise.

Requirement

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Strong experience in conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM tools, 3D modelling, and Photoshop.
• Strong presentation, coordination, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in interior design is an advantage.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage due to exposure to overseas projects
