Job summary

Cadence Design Systems, Inc. in Malaysia seeks a Sr Application Engineer to support Cadence’s digital implementation, physical design and static verification solutions across customers in the region. You will combine hands-on design expertise with technical leadership and customer engagement to optimize PPA on advanced nodes.

Responsibilities include working with RTL teams, leading design flows, and helping customers tape out silicon while driving tool adoption and methodology development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on physical design and verification experience.
• Experience with 7nm and below technologies.
• Strong knowledge of low power design and ASIC flows.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical design implementation including floor planning, power grid design, place and route, CT synthesis, timing closure.
• Work on challenging designs such as low power and high-speed nodes.
• Lead next-gen physical design methodologies and flow development.
• Collaborate with RTL teams to ensure successful tapeouts.
