Job summary

City Facilities Management in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to manage and continuously improve our SaaS applications and digital solutions. You will work with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to understand needs, resolve issues and deliver technology projects.

The ideal candidate has 7–8+ years in application management, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, APIs, and Power BI, plus ITIL/ITSM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–8+ years in application management or related technology roles.
• At least 2–3 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Strong experience managing SaaS / off‑the‑shelf business applications.
• Proven experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Experience managing technology vendors and stakeholders across business and IT.
• Proven ability to lead projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• ITIL exposure and extensive experience with Service Desk software.
• 1‑2 years' experience developing business solutions, application workflows, and processes using Power Platform or Azure Integration Services.
• 1‑2 years' experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Engineer to manage, support and continuously improve our SaaS applications and digital solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to understand business needs, resolve application issues, deliver technology projects and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, integration and modern Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse), Azure Integration Services, API and system integrations, SaaS application management, workflow automation, data visualization, AI solutions, and ITIL/ITSM practices. Experience with service desk platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, or similar ITSM tools will be highly regarded.
