Job summary

City Facilities Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to manage and continuously improve our SaaS applications and digital solutions.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to translate business needs into technology, driving automation and modern Microsoft tech adoption. The ideal candidate has 7–8+ years in application management, strong SaaS/applications leadership, ITIL experience and hands-on Power Platform/Azure Integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 7–8+ years of experience in application management, application operations or related technology roles.
• At least 2–3 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Strong experience managing SaaS / off-the-shelf business applications.
• Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end.
• ITIL exposure and extensive experience with Service Desk software.
• 1–2 years' experience developing business solutions using Power Platform or Azure Integration Services.
• 1–2 years' experience with Power BI.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Engineer to manage, support and continuously improve our SaaS applications and digital solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to understand business needs, resolve application issues, deliver technology projects and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, integration and modern Microsoft technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse), Azure Integration Services, API and system integrations, SaaS application management, workflow automation, data visualization, AI solutions, and ITIL/ITSM practices. Experience with service desk platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, or similar ITSM tools will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Application & Service Management

Manage and continuously improve SaaS applications and digital solutions.

Deliver reporting and insights using Power BI and data visualisation tools.

Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

7–8+ years of experience in application management, application operations or related technology roles.

At least 2–3 years in a senior/lead capacity.

Strong experience managing SaaS / off‑the‑shelf business applications.

Proven experience in business and technical requirements gathering and analysis.

Experience managing technology vendors and stakeholders across business and IT.

Proven ability to lead projects end‑to‑end.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

ITIL exposure and extensive experience with Service Desk software

1-2 years' experience developing business solutions, application workflows, and processes using Power Platform or Azure Integration Services

1-2 years' experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI
