Job summary

City Facilities Management in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Senior Application Engineer to manage and continuously improve our SaaS applications and digital solutions. You will work with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to understand needs, resolve issues and deliver technology projects.

The ideal candidate has 7–8+ years in application management, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, APIs, and Power BI, plus ITIL/ITSM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7–8+ years in application management or related technology roles.
• At least 2–3 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Strong experience managing SaaS / off‑the‑shelf business applications.
• Proven experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Experience managing technology vendors and stakeholders across business and IT.
• Proven ability to lead projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• ITIL exposure and extensive experience with Service Desk software.
• 1‑2 years' experience developing business solutions, application workflows, and processes using Power Platform or Azure Integration Services.
• 1‑2 years' experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve SaaS applications and digital solutions.
• Own application roadmaps, enhancements and service performance.
• Lead issue resolution, root cause analysis and service improvements.
• Ensure applications remain secure, reliable and scalable.
• Manage vendor performance, contracts and service delivery.
• Lead application implementation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Drive business process improvement, automation and digitisation projects.
• Oversee solution testing, deployment and user adoption.
• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to stakeholders.
