Job summary

Nigel Frank International is recruiting a Business Applications Manager in Kuala Lumpur to own the Dynamics 365 CRM & Business Central ecosystem, driving strategy, governance and improvements across ERP and Microsoft 365 platforms.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technology solutions, and partner with Finance and HR to optimise processes and reporting. This is a senior leadership role with broad exposure to senior leadership and external partners.

Business Applications Manager, Dynamics 365

My client is a global non-profit headquartered in Malaysia.

As the organisation continues to evolve its corporate technology environment, they are looking for a senior technology leader to take ownership of their business applications landscape by bringing together Microsoft Dynamics, Finance systems, Microsoft 365, automation and wider corporate technology.

This is an opportunity to move beyond managing a single application or technology function and take ownership of a broad corporate technology ecosystem with direct visibility to senior leadership.

Reporting directly to the C-suite, you will have a seat close to the business and the opportunity to influence how technology supports Finance, HR, CRM, collaboration, information management and day to day operations.

For someone coming from a Business Applications, ERP or Enterprise Applications background, this is a chance to broaden your remit into genuine corporate technology leadership while remaining close to the Microsoft ecosystem.

About the Role

This role with partake the lead on strategy, governance, delivery and continuous improvement of the technology environment.

A major focus will be the continued development and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Business Central particularly across Finance. You'll translate business requirements into technology solutions, oversee implementation and improvement initiatives, and ensure systems remain aligned with the organisation's wider objectives.

The role also combines technology operations, vendor management, project delivery and stakeholder leadership making this a strong fit for someone who can move comfortably between technology strategy and hands on business applications leadership.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the roadmap and governance of entire technology ecosystem.

Own the Business Central and Dynamics 365 CRM environments, driving optimisation, support and continuous improvement.

Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to improve accounting, budgeting, reporting and financial processes.

Drive automation and digital transformation opportunities across corporate functions.

Oversee requirements gathering, solution delivery, testing, releases, change management and user adoption.

The opportunity offers exposure well beyond traditional ERP or applications management. You'll gain experience across ERP, CRM, Finance, HR technology, Microsoft 365, automation, governance and IT operations, while working directly with senior business leadership.

You'll also develop your ability to manage external technology partners, influence business processes and translate organisational priorities into technology roadmaps.

Who We're Looking For

Strong experience across Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM and/or Business Central / NAV.

A solid understanding of ERP and financial accounting systems.

Experience managing business applications within an in-house or enterprise environment.

Strong Microsoft 365, SharePoint and/or Power Platform knowledge.

Experience with technology governance, project delivery and vendor management.

Confidence working with Finance, senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

A business-focused mindset with the ability to turn technology into practical process improvements.

Strong communication, accountability and stakeholder management skills.

International or multi-country experience would be advantageous.
