Brenntag TA Team is seeking a finance professional to manage fixed asset accounting, GL processing, and reporting. You will ensure data quality, support month-end close, and assist in audit preparations.
The role requires a degree in finance-related field and at least 2 years of experience, with SAP Asset and GL familiarity being advantageous. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, with emphasis on controls and process improvements.
Perform complex transactional and rule base activities pertaining to Fixed Asset accounting, GL accounting, reconciliation and closing activities in accordance with accounting standards, service levels, company policies, procedures and controls. Support in the preparation and review consolidated financial reports in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with policies and procedures on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis or as otherwise required.
Job Requirements Education : Degree in relevant field (Commerce, Finance, Accounting) Experience : Minimum 2 years of working experience Industry or shared services experience is an added advantage Skills Requirements Strong team player Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, is a must Experience in using SAP system, especially Asset Module and GL Module, is added advantage Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is a plus.
