Job summary

Reeracoen Recruitment in Damansara, Selangor seeks an ELV Systems Technician to support installation, testing, and maintenance across CCTV, access control, PA, and intercom systems. The role involves hands-on work, health and safety compliance, and collaboration with clients.

You'll perform troubleshooting, system health checks, and documentation, with opportunities to learn smart building and data centre monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ELV systems.
• Respond promptly to system faults and breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
• Assist the Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager, and Technical Service Manager in carrying out services related to CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Alarm Systems, Structured Cabling Systems, Network Infrastructure Support, Public Address (PA) Systems, and Intercom Systems.
• Perform installation, testing, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems, including CCTV Surveillance Systems and Access Control and Biometric Systems.
• Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and periodic inspections to ensure optimum system performance.
• Carry out testing and troubleshooting of ELV devices, controllers, sensors, and associated infrastructure.
• Support system upgrades, expansions, migrations, and integration activities.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during maintenance and project activities.
• Continuously learn and develop technical competency in ELV technologies, smart building systems, and data centre infrastructure monitoring solutions.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, service reports, inspection reports, testing documentation, and commissioning reports.
• Ensure all works are performed in accordance with safety requirements, technical standards, and company procedures.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead and Technical Service Manager.
