Job summary

Double E Resources Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a field technician to install, configure, and commission CCTV, access control, cabling, PA/PAVA, and networking systems on site in Penang.

You will read technical drawings, coordinate with the site manager and subcontractors, configure switches and VPN gateways, and prepare handover and test reports. This role offers hands-on duties and close collaboration with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission CCTV, access control, structured cabling, PA/PAVA, and networking systems
• Perform on-site troubleshooting and technical support for ongoing and completed projects
• Read and interpret technical drawings, BQs, and system schematics
• Coordinate with site manager and subcontractors during installation phases
• Configure network equipment (switches, VPN gateways, NVRs/VMS)
• Prepare basic technical documentation (as-built drawings, handover notes, test reports)
• Support tender-stage technical assessments (site surveys, equipment sizing) when needed
• Liaise with vendors and clients on technical matters
