Job summary

Uncanny Tech Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur invites applications for an on-site ELV technician to service CCTV, access control, public address, fire alarm, SMATV, and intercom systems. The role emphasizes practical electrical knowledge and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults during on-site visits, coordinate with sales/project teams for site measurements, and produce concise reports.

Qualifications

• Basic electronic & electrical knowledge.
• MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Valid driving license (Class D/B2) and daily travel within Klang Valley.
• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to clients clearly.
• Ready to handle urgent service calls if required.
• Experience in installing or maintaining ELV systems is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome. On-site training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Fire Alarm, SMATV, and Intercom).
• Conduct thorough site walks at existing client locations to identify potential faults or upgrade needs.
• Assist the sales/project team by visiting potential new sites to take measurements, assess technical requirements, and provide site reports.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site to minimize system downtime.
• Prepare brief daily site reports and service sheets for management and clients.
